Summary
Computer Gaming World issue 208, November 2001.
Old magazine extract from before Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos was even released.
Interesting informations:
- Only three races: humans, orcs and tauren (mind this was before they were formally introduced in Warcraft III)
- No Hearthstones, a spell called "Word of Recall" instead.
- Stranglethorn Vale being called "Stranglethorn Jungle".
- Doomguards being called "Balrogs".
- Imperial Plate being the alpha Footman armor.
- Grunts with horned helmets.
- Alpha Goldshire images.
- Alliance and Horde adventurers being able to play together.
- Each class having a passive buff shared with anyone they group with.
- Another look for the crashed zeppelin in Stranglethorn Vale.
- Mention of a "Dragonmaw Battle Axe".
