“We had done three box covers for StarCraft and got such a positive reaction we wanted to up our game (pun intended) for Warcraft III. We did one box cover for each race and when the stores displayed them, they took up entire walls of the game store. Everyone who loves Warcraft rushed out and picked up their favorite one. Even people unfamiliar with the franchise or Blizzard had these beautiful and brutal faces staring at them when they walked in the store. It made it impossible to resist picking one up and seeing what the hell this game was about.”
