This piece appears on pages 114-115 of The Art of Blizzard Entertainment with the following commentary:
- Chris M.: This is Wei's art for the Sunwell Patch. It shows the demon Kil'jaeden rising up out of the Sunwell and a very corrupted Prince Kael'thas summoning him. This was one of the first great demon images we had, and we had plenty of cool paintings of demons—mostly of Illidan—but this showed the scale of Kil'jaeden and the scale of the threat that waited beyond the universe to devour mankind.
- Samwise: All in a big fiery toilet. Flush him and he's done.
