“I was inspired by previous abominations players have come across in Azeroth, which are undead, ogre-like creatures with little intelligence, so in this interior shot, I wanted to depict a moment of him enjoying his spa and a dirty, dead, sludgy, gut bath right before an enemy arrives, as if nothing matters, no matter who might come. Skull props like the waterfall through the mouth indicate the way the abomination margrave spends his afterlife and his brutal, grotesque personality.”
