Dread Amber Shards are a faction token for the Klaxxi. Dread Amber Shards drop mostly from creatures in the Dread Wastes, but are also known to drop from the sha throughout Pandaria as well. The drop rate is fairly rare and players are likely to only get a few while performing their daily quests in the Dread Wastes.

- Five are required for the repeatable turn in quest
