The Dirty Note drops from Karnoth during the quest  [10-40] Shadows Awaken.

If the player picked up Leatherworking after completing the quest, this item has a chance to drop from any humanoid mobs in the zone.

The subject of this section did not make it out of the beta stages.

It previously dropped from Haraam the Fool.
