Cheat death (terminology)

A cheat death is an an effect that keeps the player from dying, usually restoring them to some low level of health instead and applying a debuff that prevents the effect recurring for some duration. They are usually class-dependent. Traditionally, it is a passive effect, and typically a Talent. The most typical wording is either "fatal damage" or "fatal attacks".
Active abilities creating a similar effect include:
