Discover the location of Herald Dalora. Destroy the Scourge forces surrounding Icecrown Citadel.

Description

This is troubling news, <name>. Whoever this "Banished One" may be, it is clear he is behind the Scourge's return.

That the undead are amassing in great numbers outside Icecrown Citadel cannot be a coincidence. Lead our hippogryph riders in surveying the area from above.

Determine if the dark herald you saw is among them, and then clear a path for reinforcements.

Let us hope she possesses the answers we seek.

On accept:

Crusader Renn says: If we fail to prevent the spread of the Scourge this camp may be lost. Do what you can to buy us time.

Head south to the end of the rampart and hop on the hippogryph. It flies the player south through Corp'rethar to the Cathedral of Darkness. As it approaches Dalora:

Herald Dalora says: Ah, another defiant soul.

Herald Dalora says: In time, you too will serve the Banished One.

Herald Dalora says: Death will be the only power that remains!

Players then gain access to two vehicle abilities:

1.  Blessed Hammer 150 yd range — Hurls a hammer, inflicting X Holy damage to enemies within 10 yards. Instant (1.5 sec cooldown)
2.  Riders, Attack! 150 yd range — Marks an enemy, signaling allied riders to attack your target. Instant (10 sec cooldown)

The hippogryph starts a bombing run. Take out anything that moves. Viable targets include: Skeletal Footsoldier, Skeletal Instructor, Frigid Spellbinder, Colossal Plaguespreader, Lumbering Atrocity, Citadel Watcher, Darksworn Summoner, Frostbrood Guardian & Brittle Boneguard.

At 50%:

Herald Dalora says: You show promise... like the others.

At 100%, the hippogryph returns north to the Ironwall Rampart:

Herald Dalora says: Yes. You will make a fitting prize.

Our riders' reports of a massive Scourge sighting near Icecrown Citadel cannot be a coincidence. That winged being may have more power over our enemy than we thought.

Our gryphon riders are ready to depart on your command.

Once you're able to confirm its location clear a path for our allies and I will send word for reinforcements.

Let us hope we may find the answers we seek.
