With the move to Wowpedia, and a rename back to Zeal, i think my userspace is messed up again. Oh joy! Will fix it again some day.

Project Rex still on the back burner, though World of Starcraft makes me wish i had done it by now. :p

WAA is still without a dev, and WoWMinion is a backwards attempt to do similar which i hope to undermine.

PNG had some updates, but as it can never really go anywhere unless i suddenly start working for Nintendo and they want to completely revamp the franchise, it can safely go back on the shelf.

I quit MMOC because i was fed up with trying to work for Bibi and it going nowhere while oppertunies kept going elsewhere. Also officialy quit -- for the third time -- an admin permission elsewhere.

Resigned as officer in my guild, and then due to a load of crap got kicked and banned, so WoW for me right now is pretty bad. I am looking at bringing back one of my old addons though, which i hope to eventually replace CT_UnitFrames with by expanding it.

Before i left my guild, i was working on ZDKP as a proposal for them, and it seemed the popular choice that we would be using. It's stalled for obvious reasons, but i am actually working on it still because no matter where i go next, it's what i hope to use for loot distribution.

Nothing new on the wiki front; place is a mess, policies still suck, people still suck etc.

So i finally got everything in my old user space moved to this one. Plenty of links still need to be updated across my sandbox -- especially templates -- but i'll do those as i look over it. I'm mainly doing this because i've got a cold and was bored.

Project Rex is on the back burner primarily because of other projects taking the lead, but also because of the Cataclysm gear up -- may as well wait for more accurate info now.

A little something called WAAML has been in a good draft stage for a while now, but i'm still waiting on a WAA client to be made based on it -- have two programmers lined up, but both too busy to commit -- to show case what it can do, which is a shame as i know i had started to promote it as something WoWWiki could use and i aimed to have it done before Cataclysm so no rivals could make further progress in their own tools.

Also got a Pokémon related project -- called PNG -- going that's been on my mind since WoW, and i'm now giving a lot of attention. I'm also doing various things for MMOC -- been there a while, and you'd have to be living under a rock to not know what the current adgenda is -- and some exciting stuff with Adys.

In terms of the wiki, you'll probably only see me removing incorrect info based on leaked alpha info, as well as pushing to get any unsourced Cataclysm info already on the wiki sourced, so i know what info i can and can't add based on what is already known -- this was a mess in WotLK, with alot of alpha info leaking in and unsourced WWI info (God there was so much incorrect info reported by almost all sites from this. I'm glad the next event is still a way away.).

Incase anyone is wondering, no i'm not returning to WoWWiki editing. I'm simply doing research for a project and correcting things i find wrong as i go as well as looking for some help on missing information.

Just a reminder that i won't be editing the wiki during July, no matter how much i see you all screwing up WotLK and WWI info ;) If anyone wants me, i'll still be free to talk on my user page though, that's it.

My last post probably wasn't that clear, so i'll clarify. I'm no longer contributing to WoWWiki outside my userspace. I will be responding however to anything adressed to or concerning me.

I've been working on some new icons and refining some of the previous ones i submitted for use on here. I'm taking a break right now, but will be back to working on them shortly as it's nice to finally have a consistant set of icons for all sources. You can find the list here. You're free to add them to the wiki for use in articles and templates. Credit's appreciated but not required.

I'm done, it's my userspace or nothing, purely for my own survival.

LANing for a few days, so i won't be around to comment or contribute much if at all. Be back monday.

I've decided to come back in some form to finish what i started with the World of Warcraft Unofficial Timeline. It's been neglected since i left, and it's not recieved the recognition it deserves.

However, i'm not going to be touching the live one, as i still have gripes about policies and practices in place on the wiki, as well as a distate for mediwiki itself that i've built up from using it (but it quickly gets the job done, even if it is done poorly).

So with that said, i'll be working on the World of Warcraft Unofficial Timeline at the linked location.

Expect lots of custom templates and formatting, as well as some notes and such so you can see where i'm going, what i mgiht have missed etc.

If someone wishes to update the live one from it, then they are more than welcome, i wrote it mainly for my own use in the future, but i'm more than happy for it to exist on the wiki and that's why i added it to the wiki in the first place.

You're welcome to ask any questions of me on it's talk page, as well as the live one, but i'm more likely to answer on my one.

Sadly i'm leaving WoWWiki, it was always coming, but two many straws in such a short time and i've snaped. It was nice to get to know many of the fantastic members and admins here, soome whom i got on better with than others, and some people who have earnt a lot of respect from me, even if we don't agree.

I wish WoWWiki luck, and hope it eventually gets to where i was trying to take it, and doesn't let silly things and people keep it from improving.

Obviously the the obligatory shoutouts are next:

Kirkburn
The only admin that earnt my respect. You're fair, you're just and you listen to all sides and take it on board before you make your decisions. I just wish you took a more proactive approach to change, especially in the way of styling and markup, as you're seemingly the only other person on the wiki with the knowledge and understanding of web design, and the wiki greatly needs help there. If you want to keep in touch, you can, as you're someone i'd like to call a friend.
Adys
A rare thing, a french man i've gotten along with. Lots of knowledge, lots of ability, and lots of willingness to bring about change. I expect to see you continue what you're doing, because it's great for the wiki. There's not much to say when someone is doing a good job :p Please don't be gone long, you're needed greatly imo.
Baggins
Even with hiccups, you have a vast knowledge of lore and it was nice to have another person as neutral as you are to try and keep the accuracy of the lore on WoWWiki in check. It is slipping, and i hope you will continue to take action without me to improve it. Keep in touch with me, i will be in need of you in the future.
Ragestorm
I Didn't get to speak to you much, and we had only one run in, but i hope you understand it wasn't personal and was good intentioned (for the wiki) even if it was a mistake. I hoped to have gotten to know you better before leaving, but sadly you never made it on to IRC. Please get in contact with me if you can.
Tekkub
Lots of disagreements, and you actions are of course part of why i'm leaving. But you're knowledgable, and hopefully you can continue to bring the templates here to a better standard. You're also wanting change at a faster pace as i was, even if it's not in the same places. Your drive should help to get the wiki to places it should have been long ago.
Hobinhiem
I really don't get you. The momment i saw you on the wiki, you seemed flakey and brash, and speaking to you that impression has only got worse. I hope you get past that and stop giving others a hard time, because i'm sure under that there's plenty of knowledge and ability to help the wiki improve.
Teomyr
Please for the love of god, push to get your stuff implemented. You're doing alot of external work most don't see, but it's going to revolutionize the wiki imo, and finally make it a respectable db site. I'll be glad to see all external links gone someday. If you can, get in contact with me, as i'd love to still talk to you regarding your work, and possiblly use it myself in future with your permission.
Voidvector
I got a bad impression of you at first, but even though we don't agree, you have technical knowledge beyond mine that i hope you bring into play the day you return, and not be fearful of stepping on toes to make sure things are done right. What can i say? You were right all along about the performance? ;)

I've probably left a few people out, for which i'm sorry, but all the regulars in the IRC channel made it an enjoyable stay, i thank you all. Please know i have no hang ups about our discussions and arguments in there, i was glad to have them.

I may stop by to keep inter-wiki relations, because as some of you know, i intend to create a seperate lore wiki for my own site, and fully intend to offer assistance and share any info or content.

If you wish to leave a message, then please do so on my talk page.

See ya.

After lots of mishaps and other things, proposal is getting some well deserved attention and discussion, certain issues are getting undertsood and resolved, and i've started replacing all the item tooltips with {{tooltip}}. Still, that's alot of work to do, so any help is apprecaited in going through Special:Whatlinkshere/Template:Tooltipcss and switching to the template.

20:41, 4 January 2007 (EST)

Done lots of recategorizing of my userspace, new article templates, some mock pages using my proposal. Yay for being able to navigate my userspace now.

23:19, 26 December 2006 (EST)

Created my proposal. Please check it out and leave feedback and suggestions.

00:36, 25 December 2006 (EST)

Decided to take on the task of redoing article names, categories and templates. I've started with Servers, Guilds and Battlegroups. Oh and merry xmas.

10:19, 24 December 2006 (EST)

Went through and added sort key options to all article type templates that add articles to categories when used, eg. {{Guild|<sortkey>}}

19:05, 22 December 2006 (EST)

User page made live, added {{User:Zeal/Sandbox/Templates/img}} template and finalized {{contentbox}}. I hope to add many more templates to help improve on the poorly structured current state of most articles on here.
