• Permanently enchant a melee weapon to occasionally increase Agility by 60 and haste by 15. Cannot be applied to items higher than level 600.

Mongoose is a weapon enchantment performed with Outland Enchanting (75); learned from  [Formula: Enchant Weapon - Mongoose].

Reagents required:

	40x [Arcane Dust]			8x [Greater Planar Essence]
	10x [Large Prismatic Shard]			6x [Void Crystal]

When Mongoose procs, it grants the following buff:

 Lightning Speed — Increases Agility by X and slightly increases attack speed for 15 sec. 15 sec duration.

Notes

• When wielding one weapon enchanted with Mongoose, a single Lightning Speed buff can be active at a time. When dual wielding two weapons with Mongoose, up to two Lightning Speed buffs can be active at a time. Their effects stack additively.
  • Proccing Mongoose again while the maximum number of Lightning Speed effects are active will refresh the buff's (or one of the buffs') duration.

Patch changes

• Patch 2.1.0 (2007-05-22): Now has a glow and lightning visuals (previously had no passive visual effect).
  
• Hotfix (2007-03-16): The haste effect from the Mongoose enchantment no longer reduces damage.
  
• Patch 2.0.3 (2007-01-09): Added.
