A Talking Head can be looted from various Rot Hide gnolls on Fenris Isle in Silverpine Forest. It starts the quest 
[17] Resting in Pieces.
As a quest objective
- [17] Resting in Pieces: Bring Alaric's head to his grave.
Trivia
- During the World of Warcraft alpha, this was only a quest starting item, not a quest item itself. Accepting the quest would remove the Talking Head from your inventory and replace it with
[Alaric's Head].[1][2]
