Zertin is one of the dark shaman left behind by Garrosh Hellscream on Pandaria after the destruction of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. He along with the other shaman were tracking down their leader who had been captured and ended up at Mudclaw residence. Before attacking, the shaman were interrupted by virmen to which Zertin killed their leader. He was able to distract the defenders and help Mashok escape. Like the other shaman, he fell and died while Lyalia stabbed him with her moonglaive.
