The Xy Trustee's Gearglider is a flying disc mount. To acquire this mount, players are required to be Renown 8 with the Manaforge Vandals by defeating bosses in Manaforge Omega. Players on the WoW Secret Finding Discord discovered the three Dead Drops on 29 October 2025. This is one of the secrets that counts for  [Mind-Seeker].

Walkthrough

To begin, gain one of three buffs, created by Khaz Algar scribes:  [Deal: Cartel Ba],  [Deal: Cartel Zo], and  [Deal: Cartel Om]. Each buff reveals that cartel's Dead Drop, so three weeks are (nominally) required to collect them all.

Use the deal to gain a buff that lasts for the rest of the week. With the buff active, enter Manaforge Omega and find Dead Drop objects. They are visible on any difficulty. The Ba and Zo drops are not available if Forgeweaver Araz has been defeated.

The Cartel Ba drop is located between the Plexus Sentinel and the Forge Core center ring. Take the RIGHT fork and it'll be at ^[64, 46] on the leftmost edge of the platform.

The Cartel Zo drop is located on the path to Forgeweaver Araz in the first (north) mana-vent area. Jump on the pipe instead of taking the portal and be careful to not fall down to reach it at ^[36, 20] at the far end of the pipe.

The Cartel Om drop is located north of the building past Fractillus at ^[59, 11] on a small rock.

After acquiring all three Dead Drops, Zo'turu at Shadow Point (just outside the raid) starts the quest  [80] Someone Like Me, awarding the mount and the  [Cartel Transmorpher].

Cartel Xy trades in many currencies; none are as valuable to its inner circle as loyalty.

Notes

This mount was originally added to the database in patch 9.1.0 with the name Pilfered Gearglider. During the PTR, it had the following journal entry: "Theft is not a crime in Tazavesh, it's more of a way of life." It was not available to players at the time.
