Worldcore
The Worldcore is a vast, titan-made chamber at the heart of Azeroth containing the Worldsoul and protecting it from all outside, corrupting influence. It was constructed by the earthen of Khaz Algar after the titan Khaz'Goroth notified Keeper Archaedas that the corrupting influence of the imprisoned Old Gods was affecting the Worldsoul. At its center, lies the Worldsoul, "with only the titans to influence it."
At some point, as the earthen dug deeper and closer to the Worldsoul, they started to physically change due to its influence and "crystallized" into thraegar, like Magni. They then rebelled against the titans and started attacking the Worldcore, damaging it. To protect the Worldcore, and the Manifold as a whole, the Keepers quelled the rebellion and measures like the Edicts and the Awakening Machine were put into place to prevent a reoccurrence.[1]
