WoW Remix: Legion (also Lemix and Legion Remix) is the second WoW Remix event, taking place during patch 11.2.5. It was announced at PAX East 2025 with details being revealed with a WoWCast episode. The original twelve classes in Legion will be available, but not evokers.
Legion Remix runs from 7 October 2025 to 19 January 2026.
Features
- Remixed artifact weapon trees instead of the cloak-and-gem system from Pandaria Remix
- The Mythic Keystone system (aka Mythic+) was introduced in Legion, it'll be available as the Timeworn Keystone system with most of the original Legion affixes (and new "Eternus' Trails" affixes) to see how far a key can be pushed. There are achievements up to +40!
- An increased difficulty "Heroic World Tier" (previously called the Shattered Timeline) inspired by Diablo. An alternate timeline where "everything went worse".
[Bronze] is strictly for purchasing cosmetics at the Infinite Bazaar, not equipment upgrades- 5 additional character slots and an opt-in early conversion of Timerunners to regular characters
[10-80] Infinite Research daily quest option (a la the Worldsoul pick-of-options weekly in Dornogal)
Phased releases
Legion Remix will launch in phases every two or three weeks:
- Skies of Fire (7 October, 7.0) — Open world, Withered Army Training, launch dungeons, Emerald Nightmare and Trial of Valor raids
- Rise of the Nightfallen (21 October, 7.1) — Insurrection campaign, Return to Karazhan megaduneon, Nighthold raid
- Legionfall (4 November, 7.2) — Broken Shore storyline, Legion Assaults, Cathedral of Eternal Night dungeon, Tomb of Sargeras raid
- Argus Eternal (18 November, 7.3) — Argus storyline, Seat of the Triumvirate dungeon, Antorus, the Burning Throne raid
- Infinite Echoes (9 December) — Say your goodbyes and embrace the chaos for the final month of the remix
As this is a limited-time event, lockout durations have been greatly reduced. Events like raid resets and World Boss rotations that typically happen weekly instead occur daily.
Phase 5: Infinite Echoes
In the final phase of the event, multiple additions and changes were made to the event as the timeline begins collapsing.[1] A rift above Dalaran has appeared.
- The new upgrade currency for max levels is the
[Flawless Thread of Time], providing gear up to ilvl 779. Erus offers
[Mote of a Broken Time] exchanges for
[Fragmented Memento of Epoch Challenges].
[Timerunner's Mayhem] buff is available by completing Infinite Research, providing up to 30% experience gains.- New quests:
[10-80] Until Our Next Hello and
[10-80] Out of Time - Lost Legion Infernal, a unique rare elite as strong as a world boss.
[Blank Doomsayer's Pamphlet]- 6 Broken Isles world bosses, appearing from other timelines, appear every 18 hours, each with unique rewards.
- Increased loot and Timewarped Obelisks
[It All Makes Sense Now], one of the pre-launch feats of strength, is available once again. Talk to Doomsayers in Dalaran.
- The great rift above Dalaran, at the start of Phase 5.
Itemization
Equipment is guaranteed in each
[Cache of Infinite Treasure] from quest rewards and can also drop directly from creatures. Scrap unwanted or outleveled equipment using the
[Unraveling Sands] for Bronze, as they cannot be sold to vendors. Cache drops are strictly level based, and cap out at ilvl 584 at level 80.
There is no item upgrading in Legion Remix, as equipment statically drops at increasing item levels as players level up. At max level, higher-ilvl equipment drops from more difficult content, namely dungeons and raids. Additionally at max level, items like the
[Mote of a Broken Time] or
[Flawless Thread of Time] will combine into raid-level equipment, and are quest rewards, drops from bosses, empowered enemies in the Heroic World Tier, and rare and rare-elite enemies.
Motes drop from the following sources:
| Qty | Source |
|---|---|
| 0–1 | Heroic dungeon bosses |
| 2 | Mythic dungeon bosses |
| 0–1 | HWT empowered mobs |
| 0–2 | Rares |
| 1–2 | Treasure chests |
| 2 | Normal raid boss |
| 3 | Heroic raid boss |
| 4 | Mythic raid boss |
For the first four phases, the overall item level cap was 740; with phase 5, it increased to 779.
Any equipment will drop with at least uncommon (green) quality and has stamina and secondary stats. Secondary stats ignore diminishing returns and hard caps. Rare (blue) upgrades add a tertiary stat (avoidance, leech, or speed), while epic (purple) upgrades grant more stamina and drop at a higher item level than would normally appear. Secondary stats on gear are not using the combat rating system like everything else has since the launch of The Burning Crusade, but are flat percentage values, like 4% Haste or 8% Critical Strike. Primary and tertiary stats (stamina, strength, agility, intellect, avoidance, speed, and leech) still use ratings.
Mementos and artifact upgrades
Players will frequently find
[Artifactium Sand] or
[Mound of Artifactium Sand] inside cache quest rewards or from scrapping old armor, which directly increases the item level of the artifacts when used. Players will also find various mementos that increase stats on artifacts:
- Primary stat (Stat% from
[Powerful Arcanocrystal Shard], +Stat from Limits Unbound) - Stamina (Stamina% from
[Fortified Arcanocrystal Shard], +Stamina from mementos/Limits Unbound) - Versatility (from
[Limits Unbound]) - Movement speed (from
[Expedient Arcanocrystal Shard]) - Experience gain (from mementos)
Mementos are found in caches and from scrapping old items. They take the place of threads from Pandaria Remix, but with significantly fewer stat options. Common mementos just award Infinite Power, but higher-quality mementos also increase stamina on the artifact or experience gain. The
[Perfected Epoch Memento], from achievements like
[Campaign: Azsuna], awards 10% XP across the warband!
[Fragmented Memento of Epoch Challenges] drop from various sources. Combine 100 to gain a significant amount of Infinite Power and Stamina:
-
Mementos per type Qty Source 0–1 HWT elite mobs 1 Rare mobs 3 HWT rare mobs 10 World boss 20 HWT World boss 4–8 Normal raid boss 12–15 Heroic raid boss 25–30 Mythic raid boss -

Jewelry
Jewelry starts dropping at level 20 and grants additional ranks of artifact traits based on their quality. Raw stats-wise, jewelry only provides Stamina. Hold on to epic jewelry, regardless of item level, until another epic version drops at a higher item level.
Rings and trinkets are unique-equipped, so it is not possible to double up on trait gains. However, should equipped items from different slots (like ring and trinket, or neck and ring) both grant the same trait, they will stack! There are 24 pieces of jewelry and 12 affected artifact traits, with each trait being available on two slots.
Each day, Lidamorrutu will begin
[10-80 Daily] Make Haste, Not Waste, awarding a random piece of jewelry at the timerunner's level.
Artifact tree
All artifacts use the same upgrade tree. Spend per-character
[Infinite Power] to purchase upgrades. Power comes from nearly every source in Remix.
[Infinite Knowledge] is warband-wide and increases the amount of Power that drops from most sources. Knowledge only comes from selected achievements, listed on the Infinite Knowledge article.
Knowledge increases gained Infinite Power at two rates:
- IK 1–20: 5% per level (100% total)
- IK 21–36: 3.125% per level (150% total)
Additionally, timerunners will come across jewelry to add ranks to traits from any path, or boosting traits beyond their natural limits.
The first several traits can be purchased freely, but upon selecting one of the five Artifact Abilities, timerunners will be locked into that row until they reassign their traits. Traits can be reassigned at will while out of combat.
Once all available traits have been acquired, the
[Limits Unbound] trait can be repeatedly purchased up to 999 times to increase all Primary Stats, Stamina, and Versatility.
Activities
Players can gather Timewarped resources in Legion Remix for Bronze and IP. Track resources with the non-consumable
[Elixir of Remembered Sight], a quest reward from
[10-80] Infinite Meetings or purchased for 5
[Bronze] from Nostwin at the Infinite Bazaar.

Skips
Alts of characters who have completed
[10-80] A Fixed Point in Time will receive a skip option from Moratari immediately after creating their character:
Haven't we done this before? <Skip this chapter and receive your artifact weapon.>
The skip option will do as warned after accepting a confirmation window:
Are you sure? This chapter's quests will be abandoned and unearned rewards will be lost. You will receive the artifact weapon for your current specialization. This action cannot be undone.
On artifact and other order hall campaign quests, players will often be given portals or teleport scrolls to directly head to the quest's location rather than asking players to get there the hard way. As in Pandaria Remix, timerunners are bound to the Broken Isles (and Argus) and the immediate vicinity of quest areas while not on the isles.
During the Order Hall Campaign to bring up the Class Hall missions, Moratari cuts in to skip ahead a bit:
- Moratari says: Sorry for the interruption, but we're going to jump you forward in time, past this moment.
- Moratari says: Like Eternus mentioned before, this experiment will eventually end. So, we have to be wise about how we spend our time.
- Moratari says: See? Everything is the same, except now we are in control of our own time. We're ready to proceed.
She'll skip ahead for any other quests involving the mission table with one of:
- Moving on.
- Jumping ahead.
- Job's done.
- Skip.
- I think we can gloss over this one.
Supply quests like
[10-45] An Ample Stockpile,
[45] Elixirs of Aid
- Moratari says: No offense, but this isn't really what we're here to study.
Infinite Research
Each day, players can choose new
[10-80] Infinite Research assignments to undertake, similar to the
[70-80] The Call of the Worldsoul weekly quest in Dornogal, tasking players with over 100 varied objectives like killing demons, running dungeons, collecting Bronze orbs while skyriding, and more.
These are important to do, as their
[Cache of Infinite Power] is a big source of high-ilvl gear,
[Infinite Power], +XP% on the artifact, and achievements. Up to six days of quests can stack up, so if players are busy during the week, the quests won't be lost when they have time to play.
Reputation
A
[Champion's Insignia] worth +2,000 points of reputation with one of the Legion factions is rewarded from the
[Heroic Cache of Treasures] from Infinite Research as well as from world quests. These tokens are Remix-specific and will not carry over to the normal version of the game once Remix ends or characters are converted.
The
[Insignia of the Broken Isles] provides +1,500 points for all reputations, even those in later phases. It is a reward from
[45] The Kirin Tor of Dalaran, the Kirin Tor emissary quest.
Timewarped obelisks
- Main article: Timewarped Obelisk
Occasionally appearing after creature kills in both the normal and heroic world tiers, Timewarped Obelisks provide buffs or challenges when interacted with. Interact with them in Heroic World Tier to earn achievements up to
[Power of the Obelisks IV] after interacting with 100:
Offering of the Assassin — While out of combat, gain Assassin's Prowess. Assassin's Prowess: Vanish from sight, entering stealth. Your next attack is guaranteed to be a critical strike. Green creature atop the obelisk.
Offering of Brutality — Increases your damage dealt by 5% and an additional 5% for each enemy slain, stacking up to 10 times. When this expires, explode for X Fire damage to nearby enemies, increased by Y for each additional stack of Offering of Brutality.
Offering of the Challenger — Summons an elite Doomguard with above average loot. Red doomguard atop the obelisk. Neutral. Will use a Demonic Hearthstone (aka despawn) after a minute if not engaged.
Offering of the Pact — Summons a subjugated imp to fight for the caster.
Offering of Restoration — Leech and maximum health increased by 20%. Greatly increased health and mana regeneration. 4 min buff. Green crosses atop the obelisk.
Offering of Swiftness — Increases haste by 15% and increases movement speed by 50%.
Offering of the Void — Your spells and abilities have a high chance to cast Shadow Burst, inflicting X Shadow damage to enemies within 10 yards of your target.
- Timewarped obelisks
Heroic World Tier
- Main article: Heroic World Tier
After completing the introduction questline through
[10-80] A Fixed Point in Time, players can return to Eternus and accept
[10-80] Infinite Chaos to opt in to the Heroic World Tier, a new way to play outdoor content inspired by the Diablo franchise. Eternus is experimenting to prepare the champions of Azeroth for what could happen if things get worse.
Enemies will have more health, more damage, and occasionally Affix-like buffs, empowering their difficulty and rewards: 500% more experience, Bronze, and Infinite Power. There are four affixes. Most enemies can spawn with one affix, but some may have up to four.
Beacon of Chaos — Occasionally summons demonic allies in combat. Health increased by 10%.
Engorged — Explodes on death, inflicting Nature damage to all enemies within 30 yards and additional Nature damage over 10 seconds. Loss of control when dying suppresses the explosion. Health increased by 10%.
Fel Raiser — Damage and health increased by 40%. Crowd control abilities suppress Fel Raiser for 8 seconds.
Imperious — Nearby allies inflict 25% increased damage. Health increased by 10%.
Mythic+
Mythic+ is available at max level. Players can obtain a
[Timeworn Keystone] by speaking with Lindormi at the Infinite Bazaar south of Dalaran, by completing a baseline Mythic dungeon, or completing another player's M+ run. Runs can be started by going to the dungeon with its keystone to insert the keystone and start it from the Font of Power.
While in a run, players will receive the following buffs depending on their role:
[Gift of Eternus: Protector] — Eternus grants tanks 10% increased healing received from other players.
[Gift of Eternus: Slayer] — Eternus grants damage dealers 10% increased damage done, 100% increased health, and 33% decreased damage taken.
[Gift of Eternus: Savior] — Eternus grants healers 10% increased damage done, 10% increased healing and asborbs, 100% increased health, and 33% decreased damage taken.
Affixes are applied at certain levels of a keystone, each interval cycling between the affixes every week. The first set are the seasonal affixes that are applied at level 2 (the starting level of Mythic+):
[Eternus's Trial: Sands of Time] - While in combat, Eternus manifests bronze orbs that can be caught.
[Eternus's Trial: Dusk of the Infinite] - While in combat, Eternus calls forth hordes of the infinite dragonflight that ambush players.
[Eternus's Trial: Timeways Manifested] - While in combat, Eternus summons an elemental that splits multiple times.
[Eternus's Trial: Twilight Reflections] - While in combat, Eternus beckons alternate evil versions of you.
Level 4 affixes:
[Bolstering] - When any non-boss enemy dies, its death cry empowers nearby allies, temporarily increasing their maximum health by 10%.
[Bursting] - When slain, non-boss enemies explode, causing all players to suffer damage over 4 sec. This effect stacks.
[Explosive] - While in combat, enemies periodically summon Explosive Orbs that will detonate if not destroyed.
[Raging] - Non-boss enemies enrage at 30% health remaining, dealing 50% increased damage until defeated.
[Sanguine] - When slain, non-boss enemies leave behind a lingering pool of ichor that heals their allies and damages players.
[Teeming] - Additional non-boss enemies are present throughout the dungeon.
Level 7 affixes:
[Quaking] - Periodically, all players emit a shockwave, inflicting damage and interrupting nearby allies.
[Skittish] - Enemies pay far less attention to threat generated by tanks.
[Volcanic] - While in combat, enemies periodically cause gouts of flame to erupt beneath the feet of distant players.
Level 10 affixes:
[Fortified] - Non-boss enemies have 20% more health and inflict up to 20% increased damage.
[Tyrannical] - Bosses have 25% more health. Bosses and their minions inflict up to 15% increased damage.
[Tyrannically Fortified] - combined affix of the above two.
Completing a keystone at certain intervals is required for the following achievements:
[Timeworn Keystone Apprentice] (2)
[Timeworn Keystone Adept] (7)
[Timeworn Keystone Master] (15)
[Timeworn Keystone Hero] (30)
[Timeworn Keystone Enthusiast] (40)
[Putting the Finite in Infinite] (49)
Complete M+20 or higher keystones for specific dungeons that have been reused in later expansions to earn their Keystone Hero achievement, rewarding a dungeon teleport spell:
Lost Legion
Slay Remix-unique demons throughout the Broken Isles. Some require diving through them using Skyriding:
While not Lost Legion, the Infernals of the End Times are much powerful than the Lost Legion Infernals and started appearing across the Broken Isles since 16 January 2026.

Earning many of these achievements will also earn their equivalent Retail achievements, which do award achievement points. For example, the quest chains necessary for the Remix achievement
[Campaign: Azsuna] are the same as for the regular version of
[Azsuna Matata].
The pre-launch
[It All Makes Sense Now] feat of strength is available to complete during the last phase of Legion Remix.
