Wise-ear is the wolf companion of Drek'Thar. When Durotan led a party north to aid the spirits, both Drek'Thar and Wise-ear were apart of it. While Drek'Thar communed to spirits to try to help them Wise-ear was killed by members of the Redwalker clan. As a gift from the spirits Drek'Thar would be allowed to resurrect Wise-ear.[1]
