Twelve-String Guitar is a toy that plays the theme of Tristram from the Diablo franchise. The guitar can be played at any inn. Using it anywhere else gives the error "You must be in an inn to strum that guitar."

Learning this toy awarded the  [Diablo's 20th Anniversary] during Diablo's 20th Anniversary event. While the toy is available in the A Greedy Emissary event, the achievement was not rewarded with it.

This item is dropped by The Cow King at Yorgen Farmstead in Duskwood during Diablo's 20th Anniversary or the Treasure Goblins during A Greedy Emissary.

It was also provided to those that owned Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred and The War Within before 7 January 2025. It was delivered by 13 January 2025.

The guitar will play one of the four following audio files, each are snippets from the original "Tristram" song from the first Diablo game.

Trivia

• The town of Tristram, with a now-desecrated cathedral, was the center stage of events for Diablo. Tristram would later be destroyed in Diablo II, followed up in Diablo III with a New Tristram having been established near the ruins of the old.
