Timothy Jones (a.k.a. TJ)[1] is a human jewelcrafting trainer and quest giver found in Cartier & Co. Fine Jewelry in Dalaran.
During the war against the Lich King, he had quotas to meet from his "wealthy shipping concerns" in Undermine.[2]
During the third invasion of the Burning Legion, Timothy read about the ring called the Band of Farondis and wanted to have it.[3] He worked with an adventurer on recovering it from the murlocs[4] and also asked to recover any jewelry the murlocs might have.[5] Once he got hold of the ring, Timothy repaired it, while the adventurer cut its jewel.[6] Afterward, he was interested in Thrymja, Ring of the Gods from the Halls of Valor[7] and the Ring of the Fallen from the Naglfar in the Maw of Souls.[8] From Jabrul, he heard about a room in Black Rook Hold which contains volumes of texts, and wanted a tome about jewelcrafting.[9]
When Dalaran was attacked by nerubians, Timothy was cowering in fear. He was saved by an adventurer sent by Alleria Windrunner and directed to Krasus' Landing where Archmage Celindra teleported the evacuees away.[10]
