Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren is a storm crow mount obtained by finding him in the Forgotten Vault on the Siren Isle and activating the nearby runestones to revive him. After reviving him, he offers the quest
[80] Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren which rewards the mount. This is one of the secrets that counts for
[Mind-Seeker].
Activating the runestones
At [72.6, 61.4] in the southeast room of the storm phase of the Forgotten Vault, Thrayir's body is surrounded by a Cyclonic Runestone, Thunderous Runestone, Torrential Runestone, Turbulent Runestone, Whirling Runestone, and the Keys of Thrayir. These can only be activated during a storm caused by a Special Assignment quest. Each runestone has a matching key used to activate it:
[Cyclonic Runekey]: During a storm, it drops from Zek'ul the Shipbreaker in the Deadfin Mire or by fishing around the area where the rare spawns
[Thunderous Runekey]: Created by combining 5
[Thunderous Fragments], which drop from treasure chests on Siren Isle
[Torrential Runekey]: Created by combining 7
[Torrential Fragments], which drop from mobs on Siren Isle during a storm
[Turbulent Runekey]: Created by combining 3
[Turbulent Fragments], which can be found around the island during a storm
- One can be found in a Dirt Pile, [38, 51] at the Ghoststone Diggings on the side of the Kul Tiran house. A Kul tiran ghost is digging next to it.
- One can be found as the Runic Fragment on the ground in the Rotting Hole at [67, 78], a small cave in front of the much larger cave that leads to Gravesludge. A Kul tiran ghost can be scene cowering in the cave along with a Torn Paper.
- One can be found as the Runic Fragment in the hands of a Kul tiran ghost kneeling at a runestone inside the Spirit Scarred Cave at [52, 38].
[Whirling Runekey]: Drops from Ksvir the Forgotten in the Forgotten Vault during a storm
Mount Journal
In a fit of rage and despair, Thrayir conjured a storm that would ravage the land and annihilate Cyrce's enemies. After nearly ten thousand years, the seafury tempest continues to roil as an echo of his power.
