The Cow King is a tauren mini-boss that regularly spawns in the "Secret Cow Level", a special phased version of the Yorgen Farmstead in Duskwood available during Diablo's 20th Anniversary.
Abilities
Lightning Whip — Cracks a Lightning Whip across the ground.
Stormborn — Channeling a lightning storm.

Trivia
- Players can kill the Cow King mulitple times, but he can only be looted once per character.[1]
- Just like how the entire Secret Cow Level is a reference to the phenomenon of the same name in Diablo II, the Cow King is a reference to the Diablo II mob of the same name, who can be found in the aforementioned cow level. The
[Cow King's Hide] was an unrelated reference to the same concept.
