Plausibility of NONE of these acts being the movie
It could be that the movie will turn out to be only very roughly based on warcraft, and knowing hollywood, there is a good chance. what are some ideas that arent retellings of games or books? i have thought up: garonas story, from birth to her whereabouts now the war with the silithid pre-wow the troll wars between human/elf alliance and amani trolls the orcs beginnings (altho there is to be a new book about that) another world where the legion fought.

I hope that the movie won't be based on the games or books. Just look what crap became out of Eragon. I'd rather look a film about something about which we don't know alot, not much chance that somebody could make an error with the lore there. Btw, Krasus 'n Malfurion never destroyed the demon soul. Originally i was trying to make that Beastmaster Rexxar would be called after his Grandfather in Order for his daughter Griselda Blackhand to gain her father's trust. :Manuelwow
Plausible Time Periods and Theorys
Well, I would like to say that i doubt it would be straight into current World of Warcraft time (which is loosly based...but) Because if for some reason they want a sequal and they base this movie off WoW time then they have nothin else, unless Blizz pulls new lore out of a hat. So im thinking its gonna be a movie on either one of the books by various Authors, or another subject that would intrest the public and warcraft players. Not many people will be interesting in lets say... Garona (however interesting she is to people who enjoy lore)but she dosent appear much in regular warcraft that much and the public will be iffy... Now the story of like.. The DragonFlights or the story of Deathwing and his betrayal, because although Neltharion isnt exactly much in the games his Daughter and son are (Onyxia and Nefarion)so it gives some interest.
But most likely it wont be about a single character and their life, it will be about an event like the Sundering, First War, Second War, Dark Portal Opening, Sargeras and his imposal on Argus and the leading to Draenor and the start of the Draenei . - I think Warcraft III movie would be the best. It by far has the best storyline of all the warcrafts. I think it should begin at the start of Warcraft III and end at the end of Warcraft III:The Frozen Throne. And, on top of that, there are many great opprotunities for a lot of good actors/actresses to come together and fight a whole bunch of evil CGI daemons. Example grammar?
