Nicely converted!

Stub/Accuracy

Either we update it, or tag it as a relic preserved for historical value.

Personally, I'd like to see the former, since it's mostly well-written and approaches the subject fairly nicely.

Currently, the only place linking to it is Interface Customization FAQ (and the link does mention that it's a dinosaur)

Updating it would be a good idea. In fact, this actually leads into something else - Cairenn just mentioned to me that the US UI forum FAQ needs a serious update as well. Perhaps the two could be updated in tandem or something like that? They may not quite be on the same subject though .... just a thought :) [1] -- Kirkburn 18:44, 12 June 2006 (EDT)

The reason cited for this article being flagged: "you no longer need to modify FrameXML in order to add code to WoW". The article no longer states any such thing, and has been edited several times in the last few months. Can we confirm if this article is actually out of date anymore? WoW Interface Development.

Has Blizzard released an SDK (site developers kit)? I'll be happy to make a guide after reading and working with their SDK. I studied computer programming and .lua is simple, but I'm not very fluent in WoW addon development, however since .lua and XML is VERY application-specific. Most of my code will be copypasted from SDK or other addons.Miryuki (talk) 06:48, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
