On an alt with Night Fae 47 Renown, I talked to General Draven to switch to Venthyr (Renown 1) and it switched immediately. Went to Secutor Mevix and switched to Maldraxxi Renown 1, then went back to Lady Moonberry switched back to Night Fae and did so immediately back to Renown 47. -- Mordecay (talk) 21:03, 21 May 2024 (UTC)

Do you have 80 Renown on another character, though? The restriction is account-wide, like most of them. From the patch 9.1.5 patch notes:

"Players who reach 80 Renown with any Covenant will be able to freely switch among any of the four Covenants without cooldown or restriction.... Both the Covenant switching and the use of cosmetic rewards will also apply to alts once the Renown threshold is reached on any character." -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 21:05, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
