Will we be able to travel to the other side of this wall, eventually? Anybody know?--Illidan Rocks 23:00, 24 March 2007 (EDT)

One day, one day. Nothing has been announced or suggested so far, however. User:Kirkburn/Sig2 23:41, 24 March 2007 (EDT)
All thats known about this, is that Blizz stated they simply forgot about it... and aren't sure if they'll go back and add it since it won't have much to contribute, yet. Don't ask when or where they said this, but I do remember reading about it during an interview. Swimming

During the Summer Festival (2008), I found myself riding through lower Silverpine and decided to take a gander. Well, I also decided to swim around, and from the world map, I can tell you that there's nothing there. I literally swam RIGHT THROUGH the peninsula on my way to Hillsbrad. --Kallixenia 01:18, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Yep. Gilneas does not actually exist in the game right now, just as Quel'Thalas didn't exist pre-BC (and, in a way, it still doesn't - try swimming around the Eastern Plaguelands sometime). -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 12:32, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Behind the wall

Using Wow map viewer I saw that the road clearly did continue at least more than 1 feet, and there were a lot of trees indside the gate. After the trees however, there was a flat untextured area. Hewbie (talk) 14:59, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Gilneas - Destroyed?

Well, I was watching in MAp Viewer when I came upon the other side of Gilneas Gate..it's broken. It's as if it it's good and lifted up..but it's in a wierd angle..as if it was torn up..I put my bet that something happened to Gilneas..Including the fact that do you really think the scourge will destroy Quel'Thalas, anhiliate Lordaeron, defile the land..only to leave Gilneas clean?..It is the last nation that still stands in Lordaeron..discluding Stromgard since it's somewhere in Khaz Modan, or, if it's in Lordaeron, it's destroyed anyway.Hail, The Lord of Lore. Considering the gate has not be destroyed, theres no scourge banners hanging anywhere, and refuges are hanging around outside trying to get in... its safe to say they weren't destroyed by the scourge. As for using map viewer to see behind the wall... it doesn't matter how it currently looks, as its not meant to be seen anyway. So if they were to add it later, its look and layout will most definitely change. Guardian of Blizzard

Is it true that behind the door, there's still two Guardians of Blizzard, the infernal mob that used to protect unset areas and was said to be removed from the game? I've heard a rumor according to which there are 2 of them just behind the Greymane Gate. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by SenthaiOverlord (talk · contr).

Thir are no Guardians of Blizzard, if you go on you tube they have tons of vidos on how to get back there and no Guardians of Blizzard, the infernal mob

Chronicles

I'm not at home for about a week more, but I think I remember Chronicle 3 said that the wall was partially built because Thrall's orcs escaped from the internment camps. Can anyone confirm and update the page? Xporc (talk) 12:45, 28 December 2018 (UTC)
