I am a bloodelf and when it says the chicken should be inspected i only have the option to kill it

Problem is even when the chicken is supposed to be friendly i can still kill it it doestn turn friendly--Gurluas 11:06, 11 May 2007 (EDT)

Updated with new information

The pet's name was changed some unknown time ago to the Westfall Chicken. I've made the appropriate changes to the Cluck! quest page and the Chicken Egg page. Also, I'm level 70 and could do the quest an unlimited number of times for horde on my server (Stormreaver-US) and never once did the /cheer emote. This makes me wonder if doing /cheer gets you a prairie chicken and no /cheer gets you a Westfall Chicken?

It turns friendly immediately and you have to right click it to get the quest. You don't have to /cheer at it until you hand the quest in. I know this because I just did it :) Entula (talk) 13:44, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
