As far as I remember, WOTLK added several new NPCs and trainers to Shattrath as quality-of-life measures for alts, yes :) Xporc (talk) 08:47, 18 April 2018 (UTC)

Yeah, prior to Wrath you still had to go back to your racial city to train. That same update also removed the various town portals, as they reasoned that without needing to go back to train there was no longer a need for quick travel. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 09:07, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
