Conditional code

Can someone who knows about templates and parameters and conditional parts put in some clever code to include the first line of the notes in this sub-page? The one that has the link to the matron and the list of towns that are attacked. Which text is printed should depend on the Horde/Alliance parameter which is passed to this page. --Hops Splurt (talk) 21:35, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

Just edit the page that has the thing, look for the code or template, usually it's surrounded by {'s and }'s, then add it to this. I'd do it for you, except I'm confused.

Made an attempt with #ifeq:. It looks allright. Note that the parameter is compared to "Horde", not "Alliance". This is to ensure that the page shows in the Alliance form when no parameter is given. --Hops Splurt (talk) 12:43, November 21, 2009 (UTC)
