Talgar is an orc and the general of the Kor'kron.[1]

History

At an unknown point, Talgar became the commander of the Kor'kron, succeeding Malkorok, who fell during the Siege of Orgrimmar.

In the years following the Fourth War, Talgar and his Kor'kron were called upon by Overlord Geya'rah to Hammerfall in order to help train and deter action from Stromgarde.

Ten days following the destruction of Dalaran by Xal'atath, Lord Danath Trollbane proposed securing the 7th Legion and the Kor'kron within the Arathi Highlands as their strike force for Khaz Algar. When Thrall, Aggra, and Jaina Proudmoore arrived at the Arathi Highlands, they discovered the fallen bodies of a skirmish between the Horde and Alliance. As the Horde discussed the skirmish, Talgar noted to Thrall that the humans did nothing but provoke and seemed to have made a sport of it, and that they had discovered that Stromgarde sought to claim the Go'Shek Farm.[1]

After receiving word that the Alliance forces had started their attack on the Go'Shek Farm, Geya'rah gave the order for battle. Even as Talgar led the Kor'kron into battle, both Aggra and Eitrigg noted that he and the Kor'kron would stand down if Thrall gave the order. However, Thrall refused as he felt countering Geya'rah's command would only sow chaos on the field, and he sought to sway her instead. Thus, he took to the battlefield to rendezvous with her, while Aggra was able to recruit the elementals to aid in reducing the fighting, and Jaina did her best to reduce casualties while seeking to stop Regent Marran Trollbane.[2]

Having come to see the battle upon the Go'Shek Farm as one without honor, Geya'rah sounded a horn and called for the Kor'kron and Mag'har to hold and called upon the 7th Legion and Stromic army to do the same. Talgar and the Horde forces were quick to follow her command, and the Alliance followed suit. When Marran protested, she found herself arrested by Danath Trollbane himself, who formally apologized to Thrall, Aggra, and Geya'rah for her actions. With the Kor'kron and 7th Legion now united, Talgar joined the faction leaders in Stromgarde, where they held a military meeting.[3]
