Siren Isle, known as Cyrandall to the Vrykul,[1] is a storm-wracked island. During the Fourth War, it was used by Kul Tiras to mine Azerite, but since then its inhabitants have mysteriously disappeared.

The goblins, Arathi, and earthen have all ventured there, drawn by a mysterious whispering crystal.[2] The Bloodwake vrykul, Darktide naga, and Bilge Rats pirates vie for control of the isle.

Getting there

Players initially get to the Siren Isle through N [80] The Expedition Awaits, after which there are two ways to travel to and from the Siren Isle:

Gameplay and quests

Main article: Siren Isle storyline
The Hallowfall Arathi, the Awakened earthen and Gazlowe's Greasemonkeys have set off to explore a mysterious island calling out across the waves. Will you join the expedition and journey to the Siren Isle?[3]

Complete a short introduction questline to unlock Siren Isle and all its activities and rewards.

Enemies on the isle cycle every week from a pool of three types - vrykul, naga, and pirates.

After completing a weekly world quest, the [Seafury Tempest] phase of the Siren Isle becomes available via Suzie Boltwrench with additional quests, challenges, and more rewards.

Flame-Blessed Iron, Cyrce's Circlet, and flying

[Flame-Blessed Iron] is the main currency obtained from treasures, mobs, and doing activities on the isle and is used to buy catch-up gear from Argarom, various cosmetics from Soweezi, Hooded Purveyor, Ailenda Hedgemyr, and Taljori, or extra gems for  [Cyrce's Circlet], obtained during the main questline. Donate Flame-Blessed Iron to Major Excavations in order to start bonus objective events. Catch-up gear ilvl584 can also be obtained by killing rare enemies and completing weekly quests.

Flying is initially not possible due to the presence of  [High Winds] until N [80] Cyrce Would Be So Proud. Use convenient grapnel hooks to navigate the isle's tall bluffs or use Experimental Go-Pack. Upgrade Cyrce's Circlet via  [Raw Singing Citrine], awarded from weekly quests, all the way up to ilvl 658 (or Hero 4 in The War Within Season 2) to be able to fly in the area when the weather is calm.

Vignettes

Similar to Zaralek Cavern, vignettes and rare mobs are denoted by emote messages in the chat.

Notes

  • Siren Isle uses an unreleased Island Expedition map, named Abandoned Mines, from Battle for Azeroth. Its backstory as a Kul Tiran Azerite mine from the Fourth War may be a reference to this fact.
