Objectives

Activate 5 Quel'Danas Sentinels to destroy the Void Pylons.

  • Sentinels activated (5)
  • Void-Breach Pylon Destroyed

Description

The High Exarch has formed an impressive defensive line. It will hold the Devouring Host's current numbers. But I can see void pylons behind the lines. Those will call forth more Devouring Host and overwhelm the Vanguard of the Light.

Their power is too dangerous for us to destroy directly, but if we can re-activate the sentinels that fell in the initial assault, they could destroy the pylons for us.

Rewards

You will receive:

  • 30g 98s
  • 11,750 XP

Progress

We need to activate all the sentinels if we want to destroy the Void pylons.

Completion

With those Void pylons destroyed, the Devouring Host has weakened. We may have a chance of winning this.

Notes

On accepting both Severing the Void and N [80] Voidborn Banishing
Arator says: My father is eager to vanquish the Host, but charging forward won't be enough. We have to take out that pylon.
Upon activating the first Quel'Danas Sentinel
Arator says: Please forgive my father's tone. We don't always see eye-to-eye on things, to say the least.
Vindicator Xayann says: Activating those sentinels could shift the balance in our favor.
Upon activating the second Quel'Danas Sentinel
Arator says: High Exarch Turalyon is a vaunted battlefield commander. Though... I think he sometimes forgets how to be anything else.
Upon activating the third Quel'Danas Sentinel
Arator says: The Vanguard has faith in the Light, and so do I. But I've also felt it fill me with wrath, and I... I'm not sure what to think when it does.
Upon activating the fourth Quel'Danas Sentinel
Arator says: My mother, Alleria, would know better than anyone how to fight the Void. But I haven't seen her for weeks. I just hope...
Arator says: Let's... focus on activating the sentinels.
Activating Quel'Danas Sentinels
Quel'Danas Sentinel says: Target acquired!
Upon activating the last Quel'Danas sentinel, a real-time cutscene "Pylon Destruction" starts playing
The Sentinels activated by the player attack the Void Pylon destroying it.
From afar, Turalyon, Lady Liadrin, Alonsus Faol, Commander Koruth Mountainfist, and everyone else stopped and see the pylon's destruction. They started celebrating but a voice is hear.
Xal'atath: You little people and your struggles.
Turalyon looks up as Xal'atath chuckles and the voidstorm erupts.
Xal'atath: Delicious.
Xal'atath: You still believe your heroics can defeat my Devouring Host?
A whole ton of Pylons rain down.
Xal'atath: My forces are as boundless as my power.
The Pylons crashed into the seas and Vorasius is unleashed.
Xal'atath: My fun is just beginning.
Vorasius roars.

Head to Turalyon to turn in both quests.

High Exarch Turalyon says: Arator! You broke formation.
