Scarlet Enclave is a level 60 raid unique to Season of Discovery, situated at ^[68, 87] in the easternmost area of the Eastern Plaguelands. It is the first raid entirely unique to Season of Discovery, with previous new additions having been dungeons or instanced world bosses. The  [Corrupted Ashbringer] is obtainable within the raid.

All players in the Scarlet Enclave will receive the  [Resilience of the Dawn] buff.

History

After the events of Naxxramas, a force of Dathrohan loyalists left Stratholme and traveled to the Scarlet Enclave, which they forcefully took over from their more measured brethren.

Trivia

• This area would eventually become the death knight starting area in Wrath of the Lich King.
• The raid also features the first chronological appearance of Lilian Voss and Grand Apothecary Putress.

Patch changes

• Hotfix (2025-06-10): The incrementing player buff in Scarlet Enclave now increases by 5% every week (was every 2 weeks).
  
• Hotfix (2025-06-03):
  • Player-characters in Scarlet Enclave will receive a 5% increase to their damage, healing, and health.
  • This will increase by 5% every two weeks.
  • There will be a maximum of 25% increased damage, healing, and health.
    
• Hotfix (2025-05-06): The first boss you loot after Balnazzar now drops a  [Jostled Chalice Fragment] once per week.
  

Developers' notes: This means if you did the raid in a linear manner, looting Beatrix would grant you a Jostled Chalice Fragment. But if you forgot to loot her, joined the raid late, or joined a pick up group that was already in progress, the first boss you loot will grant you a Jostled Chalice Fragment.

• Hotfix (2025-04-14): The patrol after the Reborn Council should no longer pull through the wall.
  
• Hotfix (2025-04-11):
  • Health values for non-boss enemies have been significantly reduced across the entire raid.
  • The locations of the Mage Tower and Guard Tower lieutenants before the Beatrix encounter now spawn at the base of their towers.
  • Removed some of the Artillery enemies around the Blacksmith.
