Ramolith

Ramoliths are ram-shaped earth elementals predominantly found in the mountain slopes and crags of the Isle of Dorn. Their calm nature made them ideal candidates for domestication by the local earthen, who use them as mounts and beasts of burden. With the assistance of geomenders, ramoliths were integrated into daily operations, significantly increasing labor efficiency in tasks such as hauling ore, clearing quarries, and other heavy-duty activities. While some ramoliths can be stubborn, a firm and guiding has proven effective in directing these creatures. Ramoliths have been observed stubbornly following their rider or rancher into the foothills or work sites and have even shown protective displays of guardianship when others attempted to separate them from their earthen.[1] In the spring the Unbound have a tradition to adorn their ramoliths with flowers, symbolizing harmony and their gratitude for nature's gifts.[2]

Their stone hides are receptive to healing clay properties, much like the earthen. They are capable of slow regeneration by entering a state of torpor which can last an upwards of over forty-thousand recorded solar cycles. The emergence of flora and plant life around Khaz Algar was well-received by the ramoliths and has since served as a primary source of energy for them. Excessive consumption of vegetation appears to affect their own bodies, resulting in strange growth of moss along their stony hides.[3] Earthen also use certain type of rocks, which are too bland for them, as ramolith feed.[4]
