Racial mounts are ground mounts associated with the playable races. Core race mounts can be purchased from vendors. Allied race mounts are given as a reward for unlocking the relevant race—usually from the final quest in the unlock questline.

The Argent Tournament mounts and some PvP mounts are modeled after the core racial mounts. Additionally, paladins receive their own mounts based on race.
