World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic is a server option for the 2012 expansion Mists of Pandaria, announced on 13 November 2024 during the Warcraft Direct stream. It entered closed beta on 24 April 2025.^[2]

Release

The content for Mists of Pandaria Classic will be released in a series of phases much like previous Classics.

Tentative content release dates:

July 1st: (pre-expansion patch):^[1] Theramore's Fall, Pandaren, Monk, Pet Battle System
July 21st:^[1] Launch

Planned and implemented changes

Raid Finder will not be available.^[3]
Celestial Dungeons, similar to the Mythic+ system in retail.
[Tome of Four Winds Flight] and [Order of the Cloud Serpent Flight Log] are available as cheaper options for alts to obtain their skills. The former item did not exist in the game until Warlords of Draenor as [Grimoire of the Four Winds] and was only obtainable through the Black Market Auction House.

Sha-Infused Epic Pack contents

Mists of Pandaria Classic can be played in full by having game time on the account; no additional purchase is necessary. The Sha-Infused Heroic Pack and Sha-Infused Epic Pack are optional editions that provide vanity goodies in both Classic and retail. The Epic Pack is meant for those who will be playing Classic as it provides a Level 85 Character Boost and 30 days of game time.
