I WAS RIGHT ALL ALONG
I was here, in this city, when news of Ahn'Qiraj arrived. I was here, in this city, when the elements started to trash. I was here, in this city, when the demons began their invasion.
I was here for all those years, warning you that the end was coming. None of you believed me. None of you considered for a moment that perhaps I was right. I freely admit that the end came later than anticipated.
But the end has indeed come.
I am but a humble doomsayer. I seek not attention of validation.
But I was right. You were all wrong. Remember that when the Legion sears you to ashes.
Trivia
- This letter references the doomsayers that also appeared during the mentioned events, excepted that no doomsayer actually existed in the game for the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj.
- Much like the Validated Doomsayers themselves are likely a reference to the Validated Doomsayer card in the Whispers of the Old Gods expansion of Hearthstone, this letter likely references the Hearthstone minion's summoning quote: "I was right all along... hahahaha!"
