Nikki the Fixer was the Chairwoman of the Venture Company.[1] She ascended to the position following Mogul Razdunk's death, and aligned with Jastor Gallywix when he became the Overboss of Undermine during the war against the Harbinger.
History
At some point after Mogul Razdunk was killed during the Fourth War, Nikki succeeded him as the Chairwoman of the Venture Company. She was previously friends with Pamsy, who helped build most of her tech,[2], but changed after wanting a shortcut to the top. When Jastor Gallywix took over Undermine during the war against the Harbinger, she willingly aligned with him and Darkfuse Enforcement in pursuit of power.[3] When Laslo Overbite, the Bilgewater Cartel leader in the city, sought to rally the other cartel leaders against Gallywix and negotiate a new deal, Nikki did not support him. Gallywix then had Laslo executed as an example, to the terror of Nikki and the other cartel leaders present.[4]
Sometime later, Monte Gazlowe, Renzik "The Shiv", Orweyna and adventurers made their way to Undermine following their investigation in the Writhing Fields and met with Grimla Fizzlecrank, a friendly Venture Co. goblin who drove the group around the city after Pamsy, the leader of the Venture Co. crew working on the Writhing Fields and a friend of Grimla, contacted her.[5] During the tour, they visited Venturewood in the Heaps, the Venture Co. turf, where Darkfuse troops were harassing the locals with the approval of Nikki the Fixer. Grimla and Pamsy, who had also arrived in Undermne at this point, tried talking to Nikki into changing her course of action but to no avail. In a fit, Nikki threw a bomb into a nearby building before leaving the group to clean up her mess.[3]
When Gazlowe and the rest of the group eventually managed to hamper Gallywix's schemes in Undermine, he sent Nikki and some Darkfuse assassins to take out Gazlowe; however, Renzik jumped in front of Nikki's shot, sacrificing himself to save Gazlowe.[6] Following this event, Gazlowe rallied Grimla and the other cartel leaders to put an end to Gallywix's rule over Undermine.[7] Nikki showed up in Tailgate Park afterwards, terrorizing the Bilgewater goblins there, whom Gazlowe was trying to enlist for the revolution. Gazlowe attempted to take Nikki down but failed, as Nikki was being protected by her Executive Package defense matrix, which made her almost invulnerable.[1]
As the revolution progressed, Venture Company officially fought itself as Grimla directed adventurers to take out Nikki's lieutenants in Venturewood: Fusetwister Trish, Foreman Luddy, and Underboss Paulie, as Nikki attempted to eliminate them using her long-range weapons.[8] Pamsy, meanwhile, devised a means to disable Nikki's defenses.[2] Shortly after Nikki fought the cartel leaders in front of the Gallagio, but with her protection disabled she was eventually killed. Following Nikki's death, Orweyna admitted that while she bore her no sympathy, she didn't wish to see her torn limb from limb. Thus, she decided to return her body to the earth, where it may repay Azeroth for a sliver of the harm she committed.[9][10]
Following Nikki's death, Gallywix retreated into his bunker within the casino, where he would meet his own end. Grimla later became the new de facto leader of the Venture Company, replacing Nikki.[11]
