Mosswool

A mosswool ranch in Rambleshire

Mosswools are sheep-like earth elementals predominantly found on the Isle of Dorn. They have been domesticated by the earthen, and are herded at ranches like Rambleshire. The electrified mosswool harvested from the flocks in Rambleshire is used by the Stormriders to feed their Stormrooks, who, while having no need to eat, become energized from the consumption of it. Mosswool thread is spun from their wool and is both durable and versatile. It is sold by tailoring vendors in Khaz Algar and used in various crafting recipes. Mosswools spend winters bereft of their flowers. When the seasons turn, the plains are filled with a variety of earthy, sweet scents. Expert earthen florists are capable of arranging beautiful floral patterns upon their backs.
