The tainted vale of Moonrest.

Moonrest is a small wooded area in eastern Val'sharah, it contains Darkgrove Cavern. The Emerald Nightmare has tainted these woods. Lyrathos Darkgrove, a servant of Xavius has riddled this area with fel plants.[1] Darkbinder Elissath can also be found here, attempting to resurrect night elven spirits and turn them into servants of the Burning Legion.

Notes

  • Moonrest Shore was the planned name but was eventually changed. The idea was that you could see the shore from this location, but since the trees block the view you can't.[2]
