Marjuk was an ogre commander of the Dire Maul Gordunni clan. He and Wordok had the same roles - capturing slaves for King Gordok's arena fights. He intended to challenge Gordok in order to rule the Gordunni. Among his raids was a raid against the Woodpaw gnolls where he killed Gnaw. He also killed Karrga's father over a pig.[1] With Wordok and Arkus, they climbed upon Skypeak and stole One-Eye's three cubs.[2]
At some point after the Cataclysm, he traveled to the east to find new slaves. He encountered the Feral Scar yetis at their new location. While capturing them, he and his men were attacked by Feral Scar leader as well as by Aramar, Makasa, Sivet, and Hackle. The ogres were all defeated, with Marjuk being killed by Hackle and Wordok's war club, avenging his mother. Upon his death, Hackle took his axe and head as well, presenting them to Jaggal.[3]
Notes
- As a tribute that Hackle took Marjuk's head, Taryndrella gave him the title Hackle the Revenged.[4]
