The Lunar Lantern is sold by Valadar Starsong for 50 
during the Lunar Festival. While this companion can only be seen and bought by Alliance players, it is not soulbound and can be put in the auction house.

These magical lanterns are acquired at the Lunar Festival, which celebrates the defeat of the Burning Legion by the free races of Azeroth.
