Description
The Ember Ward is filled with outcasts from Revendreth society, whether they rebelled, crossed a noble, or simply looked at Denathrius wrong.
It is a Light-scorched land that drives venthyr mad, unless they manage to stay within the shadows.
If Alwin is there, it may be too late.
Let us visit Theotar at the Sanctuary of the Mad. I'm sure he will be pleased to see you.

Follow the Curator upstairs, opening doors along the way. Outside, a Purple Nightflyer is resting on the edge of the balcony, with an amazing view of the Maw.
- The Curator says: I will fetch Kleia and Pelagos. May your trip to the Ember Ward be without trouble.
Hop on the nightflyer for a free ride to the Light-ridden Ember Ward. Run up the hill to Theotar, the Curator, Kleia, and Pelagos:
- Kleia says: The Seal of Contrition will allow us to rebuild our Crest and make new Ascended to fill Bastion's ranks against the Forsworn.
On complete:
- Theotar says: Alwin! You have visitors, my friend.
- Mindscorched Alwin crawls in on all fours.
- Theotar says: Shortly after Alwin fell mad to the Light, the seal was stolen by a disposed duke who aimed to harness its power for himself.
- Theotar says: We have recently tracked him down, and were discussing next steps. Your timing is serendipitous, as always.
