Improved Devouring Plague is a priest talent in the Shadow tree, available after spending 5 talent points. The talent causes Devouring Plague to instantly deal damage equal to 15/30% of its total periodic effect.

Patch changes

• Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Removed.
  
• Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Moved to tier 6 (was tier 2) and reduced to 2 ranks (was 3). No longer increases periodic damage.
  
• Patch 3.3.0 (2009-12-08): This spell now deals 10/20/30% of its total periodic effect instantly, up from 5/10/15%.
  
• Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): Added.
