Grove of Awakening is located in Ardenweald just south of the Heart of the Forest. It is the portal to reality that Wild Gods enter once they are ready for rebirth. It is sustained by four focuses: the Focus of Destiny, the Focus of Protection, the Focus of Renewal, and the Focus of Cycles.[1] Lord Amalthwyn is seen tending to the portal normally.
The magic of the Grove of Awakening's portal is what allows kyrians to ascend, obtain their wings, and be able to ferry souls through the veil into the Shadowlands.[2] The magic was granted to the kyrians through the self-sacrifice of a night fae to become the heart of the Crest of Ascension.[3]
