The subject of this article or section took place during the War of the Thorns, the Battle for Azeroth pre-launch event.
Forsaken Priests took part in the War of the Thorns, appearing at Zoram'gar Outpost in Ashenvale and then in Darkshore. During the final phase, they fought against the night elves stationed at Mist's Edge west of Lor'danel, and later gathered with the Horde army to witness the Burning of Teldrassil. Following the Burning, they remained in Lor'danel. One priest could be seen defiling the moonwell there.
