Forgeweaver Araz (/əˈɹɑːz/ ə-RAHZ) is a boss in Manaforge Omega.

Adventure Guide

Forgeweaver Araz controls all operations within Manaforge Omega, ensuring a constant flow of energy into its central chamber. He now stands as the first witness to Dimensius' rebirth and will strive to see his work through--at all costs.

Overview

Forgeweaver Araz activates the Prime Sequence of Arcane Collectors throughout the room. Once all collectors are active, Araz begins an arcane ritual to summon Dimensius. Disrupting this ritual twice forces Araz's hand as he activates the final sequence, forming a Dark Singularity.

  • Astral Harvest creates manifestations that cause an Astral Surge when they reach Arcane Collectors.
  • Arcane Echoes duplicate Forgeweaver Araz's abilities.
  • Arcane Collectors lose their Arcane Barrier during the intermission.

Stage One: Priming the Forge

Forgeweaver Araz funnels energy into the Manaforge to feed Dimensius.

        • Arcane Manifestation — An orb of raw energy that moves towards the Arcane Collector that summoned it.

      • Warning On Heroic difficulty, players within 10 yards of the impact location get a healing absorb and suffer Astral Mark.
    • Arcane Echo - An arcane manifestation that duplicates Araz's casts.
      • Ability mage incantersabsorbtion.png Mark of Power — While the Forgeweaver and his echoes are within 20 yards of each other, their damage done increases by 75% and their damage received is reduced by 90%.

Intermission: The Iris Opens

Forgeweaver Araz pushes the forge beyond its limits to complete his ritual.

    • Ability mage missilebarrage.png Arcane Convergence Tank Alert — Upon reaching full energy the Arcane Collector channels into the Manaforge, inflicting X Arcane damage to all players every 1 sec for 4 sec.
    • Spell arcane massdispel.png Containment Breach — The destroyed collector causes a breach, inflicting X Arcane damage every 1 sec to players.
  • Shielded Attendant - Resilient attendants able to operate within the volatile environment of the Manaforge due to their ability to absorb energy from Arcane Convergence.
    • Spell arcane arcaneresilience.png Hardened Shell — The Shielded Attendant periodically gains a shield that absorbs the next X damage.
    • Spell arcane arcanepotency nightborne.png Ramping Power — With each consecutive melee attack against the same target, the casters' attack speed increases by 8%. This effect stacks.

Stage Two: Darkness Hungers

Forgeweaver Araz unleashes all his power as he feeds himself to Dimensius opening a door to the void itself.

  • Inv cosmicvoid nova.png Dark Singularity Important — A singularity erupts within the forge, inflicting X Shadow damage every 1 sec to players and pulling them into its Crushing Darkness. Over time, the strength of this movement force increases.

Forgeweaver Araz's death overloaded the Manaforge with an enormous surge of power, locking down most of the facility.

Move out into the wastes and find an alternate entrance to the Manaforge's core. Meanwhile, Xal'atath and I will try to Stabilize the Manaforge and delay Dimensius's rebirth until you arrive.

Xal'atath's gossip after the battle

Forgeweaver Araz sacrificed himself to his machines, overloading Manaforge Omega with his energy. His conviction to succeed at any cost means that Dimensius's rebirth is now inevitable.

Move out into the wastes and find an alternate entrance to the Manaforge's core. Meanwhile, Locus-Walker and I will stabilize the Manaforge and delay Dimensius's revival until you arrive.

    Using powerful sigils and technospells, Forgeweaver Araz controls the flow of energy from the forge into Dimensius, feeding the void lord to bring him into our plane. An ardent follower of the All-Devouring, he strives to see his work through--at all costs.

Patch changes

  • The War Within Hotfix (2025-09-09):
    • Arcane Obliteration will now still cast even if the target dies early.
    • Arcane Siphon damage reduced in Mythic difficulty.
    • Arcane Harvest and Silencing Tempest targeting updated to de-prioritize targeting tanks and to reduce the possibility of targets being selected by both of these abilities at once.
  • The War Within Hotfix (2025-08-19):
    • Health of Forgeweaver Araz reduced by 10% in Mythic difficulty.
    • Photon Blast cast time increased to 2 seconds (was 1 second) in Mythic difficulty.
