Endeavors
Endeavors are a housing feature accessed through the Housing Dashboard. These neighborhood-wide activities are an opportunity to earn extra House XP and unique decor purchased with
[Community Coupons].
During endeavors, specific groups from around Azeroth and beyond visit the neighborhoods, bringing unique NPCs, vendors, quests, and tasks. Each neighborhood can have one active endeavor, and each endeavor lasts for a little over a month.
In private neighborhoods, a Neighborhood Manager must choose an endeavor by speaking to Lyssabel Dawnpetal or Tocho Cloudhide. In public neighborhoods, endeavors start automatically and are chosen by the game itself.
Tasks and progress bar
Endeavor tasks are similar to Traveler's Log activities: Players must complete specific objectives to gain Endeavor Progress points, which fill a bar at the top of the Endeavors UI window. The endeavor progress bar has four milestones, which unlock housing decor for purchase at the endeavor vendor. The fourth milestone additionally allows residents to open the Endeavor Coffer for a reward of 250 House XP and 30
[Community Coupons]. The progress bar is shared with all residents of the neighborhood.
Each completed task also awards House XP and Community Coupons for the player who completed it. House XP from endeavor tasks is capped at 2,250 per endeavor (not affected by the 250 XP from the fourth milestone). Most tasks can be repeated (denoted by
), but each completion reduces the awarded Endeavor Progress points, House XP, and Community Coupons. Task rewards reset to their full value each week.
Tasks may involve general activities like completing world quests and Mythic+ dungeons in any location, or they may involve doing things in the neighborhood or the endeavor's related zone. Tasks that start with "Home:" take place in the neighborhood. Many tasks are specific to one endeavor, but general-activity tasks and the "Home: Be a Good Neighbor" task appear in multiple endeavors.

Notes and trivia
- Only one endeavor can be set to active in the Housing Dashboard, though the active endeavor can be freely switched. Having an endeavor set as active affects the level of creatures in the associated zone, the visibility of some objects, and where endeavor progress and House XP go for shared tasks. Some endeavor-specific tasks such as "Home: Arcane Acrobatics" can be completed even if their endeavor is not set as active in the dashboard.
- The music in the Town Center or the Common changes to match the neighborhood's current endeavor. For example, when Friend of the Grummles is active, "Way of the Monk" may play.
- Endeavors were first revealed in a housing preview article on 10 July 2025.[1]
- In the game files, endeavors are called "Neighborhood Initiatives" (or simply "Initiatives"). This may have been an early term for them.
