The subject of this article or section was part of the opening of the Dark Portal, a world event that heralded the beginning of The Burning Crusade.
Dreadknights were nathrezim that randomly appeared from the Dark Portal in the Blasted Lands during the Dark Portal Opens event.
Once a dreadknight spawned, elite NPCs would also spawn and rush the portal. These spawned NPCs could include Melgromm Highmountain, Lord Marshal Raynor or Justinius the Harbinger.
Abilities
Shadow Bolt — Hurls a bolt of dark magic at an enemy, inflicting Shadow damage.- Shadow Bolt Volley — Hurls missiles of dark magic, inflicting Shadow damage to nearby enemies.
- Shadow Shock — Instantly lashes an enemy with dark magic, inflicting Shadow damage.
Teleport — Instantly teleport an in-combat player into melee range.
