Trivia

This talent is a reference to the displacer beast, a monster featured in the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game. The displacer beast somewhat resembles a black puma and is primarily known for using a magical "displacement" ability, a form of illusion which causes it to appear to be a few feet away from where it actually is.

Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Removed.
Patch 7.1.5 (2017-01-10):
- Speed increase duration now 2 seconds (was 4 seconds).
- Replaced by [Intimidating Roar] for Guardian.
Hotfix (2016-08-01): Displacer Beast will apply its speed buff even if [Dash] is active (they do not stack).
Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Now a level 30 talent (was level 15).
Patch 5.2.0 (2013-03-05): Now grants 50% increased movement speed for 4 seconds after teleporting, and no longer activates [Prowl]. Cooldown reduced from 2 minutes to 30 seconds.
