Objectives

The Pylon table allows you to combine green power crystals with yellow power crystals.

According to J.D.'s manual, this combination can be used to heal yourself or your allies.

Completion

Arranging the crystals on the table, you carefully align the colors. As you push the last one into place, a burst of light fuses the crystals together.

The resulting combination is now yours.

Progression

After completing  [15-30] Crystals of Power and the three quest chains ending with  [15-30] The Northern Pylon,  [15-30] The Western Pylon and  [15-30] The Eastern Pylon:

1.  [15-30] The Shaper's Terrace
2.  [15-30] Ever Watching From Above

This unlocks the repeatable power crystal turn-in quests at the three pylons:

• East:  [15-30] Crystal Force,  [15-30] Crystal Spire
• North:  [15-30] Crystal Charge,  [15-30] Crystal Restore
• West:  [15-30] Crystal Ward,  [15-30] Crystal Yield

Previous progression

The subject of this section was removed from World of Warcraft in patch 4.0.3a but is present in Classic.

Similar quests existed prior to Cataclysm, but the pylons were solved without visiting the Shaper's Terrace.

Patch changes

• Patch 4.0.3a (2010-11-23): Replaced by new version in a new quest flow for the Cataclysm zone revamp.

  Players who had previously had access to this quest do not have credit for the new version's prerequisites. This removes access to power crystal turn-ins until the new quest chains are completed.
  

• Patch 1.3.0 (2005-03-07): The quest now rewards five items instead of three.
