The Cataract River runs from the Waterworks at [40, 46] south to the Living Grotto at [45, 66] along the central western wall of the Ringing Deeps. The headwaters are at Shimmermist Falls and the river drains through the Living Grotto into Azj-Kahet.
From north to south, the river's eastern side borders Pillarstone Spire, the Rumbling Wastes, and Taelloch.
The Cataract River Cruise skyriding race starts at [43, 48] just south of Pillarstone Spire.
